MJ Engineering Group was commissioned to carry out a Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy for an Electric Car Charging station with associated food and drink facilities. The site being located within flood zone 2 & 3 required ground modelling to determine the extent of the river modelling. Through careful design of the parking area, the proposal provided an increase in flood storage volume to the approval of the Environment Agency.
