We were commissioned to provide a drainage and external works design for a new residential dwelling, where retaining surface water on-site and enhancing the environment was a priority. The surface water utilised permeable paving for surface water treatment before being routed to swales and then a bioretention basin, which was allowed to infiltrate naturally.
